Poster presentation at the Expert Meeting on Counselling Research at Bielefeld University

Heike Liepelt presented her dissertation project as part of a poster session at the “Expert Meeting Counselling Research: Interdisciplinary - Conceptual - Empirical”, which took place at Bielefeld University from 25 to 26 October 2025. Under the title "The challenge of parent counselling. Reconstructing teachers' counselling-related learning", she presented the results of her interview study on how teachers deal with the challenging task of parent counselling in the face of teacher training that barely prepares them for it.

The Expert Meeting on Counselling Research took place for the first time with the aim of bringing together the previously rather (sub-)discipline-specific counselling research in German-speaking countries to discuss current research projects and potential collaborations.
