The publishing house Empirische Pädagogik publishes works on educational research and topics related to linguistics and cultural studies. In 1986, members of zepf founded the non-profit association Empirische Pädagogik to promote empirical research and exchange in the field of educational sciences. This association is the sponsor of the publishing house Empirische Pädagogik and is managed by a three-person board in accordance with its statutes. The current chair is Ingmar Hosenfeld, and the members of the association are predominantly current or former employees of zepf. Through its publishing house, zepf publishes its own journal Empirische Pädagogik (EP) and, together with an editorial board, the journal Lehrerbildung auf dem Prüfstand (LbP). In addition, it also publishes other books and journals on various (academic) topics, as well as dissertations and postdoctoral theses from various disciplines such as education/pedagogy, psychology, sociology, methodology, and linguistics and cultural studies. The publishing house is run by zepf employees (mostly on a voluntary basis). References to publications can be found in the latest news.
