The Empirische Pädagogik publishing house publishes papers on educational research as well as linguistic and cultural studies topics. In 1986, members of zepf founded the Empirische Pädagogik association, which is recognised as a non-profit organisation, in order to promote empirical research and exchange in the field of educational science. This association supports the publishing house and is managed by a three-person board in accordance with the articles of association. The first chairman is currently Ingmar Hosenfeld, the members of the association are mainly current or former employees of zepf. Together with the publishing house, zepf publishes its own journal Empirische Pädagogik (EP) and publishes the journal Lehrerbildung auf dem Prüfstand (LbP) with an editorial board. In addition, other books and journals on various (scientific) topics as well as dissertations and post-doctoral theses from various disciplines such as educational science/pedagogy, psychology, sociology, methodology as well as linguistics and cultural studies are also published. The publishing house is run by zepf staff (mainly on a voluntary basis). Information on publications can be found in the current news.
