TK Health Week

The “TK Health Week” is a health promotion program for employees that takes place in an inpatient setting and lasts a total of seven days. The aim is to educate participants about a comprehensive healthy lifestyle.

During the program, the necessary basic knowledge is imparted and individual approaches for change in everyday life are planned. A combination of lectures to impart knowledge, group discussions to share experiences, and practical activities address the topics of “exercise,” “nutrition,” and “stress management.” Other key areas include “work and health” and the seminar unit “healthy leadership” for managers. The seminar unit “Paths to Health and Well-Being” plays an important role, with the aim of conveying a holistic view of the topic of health. In the course of this, participants are also introduced to the topic of “mindfulness.”

The theoretical and practical content is taught by a team of experts from the fields of psychology, medicine, ecotrophology, and sports science. The “TK Health Week” was developed in 1995. In 2012 and 2013, the concept and content were updated by zepf. All seminar units were adapted to the current state of knowledge and the latest developments in everyday (working) life. Once the revision was complete, all speakers at the TK Health Week at three locations in Germany were trained in the new content by zepf.
