Competence and standard orientation in teacher training (KOSTA)
The Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (2004) formulated standards for the educational sciences, the degree of achievement of which is evaluated longitudinally in the sense of output-oriented quality assurance at the Center for Teacher Education at the University of Koblenz-Landau, Landau campus, through regular student surveys. For this purpose, an instrument was developed which records in several dimensions whether the standards for the educational sciences are assessed by the students a) as important for the teaching profession in general and b) as relevant for the university education, c) how often they were implemented in the internship, d) how difficult these standards are assessed in practice and e) how students at the university see themselves prepared for them.
