Education Barometer©: An instrument for monitoring education
The Education Barometer© is an instrument used by zepf to record the current situation and trends in the education sector. The aim of the Education Barometer© is to use a representative sample of people to obtain information on issues relating to promotion, initial, further and continuing education in the Federal Republic of Germany and to strengthen interest in education by disseminating the resulting findings, but also to contribute to the optimization of initial, further and continuing education through public discussion.
The Bildungsbarometer© conducts surveys four times a year, the most important results of which are communicated in a newsletter. A total of nine surveys were conducted in 2008 and 2009.
The sponsor and cooperation partner of the Education Barometer© is Schülerhilfe.
