Experiential education / Challenges in schools
Several publications on experiential education have been produced in recent years. Among others, Sarah Poersch published her first articles on the subject for her doctoral thesis. In addition, she and Michael Zimmer-Müller contributed to the publication of the volume “Herausforderung – eine Projektidee macht Schule” (Challenge – a project idea catches on) by K. Helker, M. Rürup, J. Siewert, and M. Zimmer-Müller, which was published by Beltz Juventa Verlag in 2023. See the book at Beltz-Verlag. In this context, zepf cooperates with the research network HeRiS – Herausforderungen als eigenständige Reformaktivität innovativer Schulen (Challenges as an independent reform activity of innovative schools) and is in contact with IGS-Landau.
Since 2016, experiential education has been an integral part of teaching at zepf, which is offered in general education and educational sciences. Several bachelor's and master's theses have already been supervised on this topic.
The contact person for questions about the network or teaching in the context of experiential education is Michael Zimmer-Müller.
Within the RPTU, zepf cooperates with Dirk Sponholz from the Institute for Special Education.
