Digital Pact Project TBA III: Development of a joint platform for feedback from online-based diagnostic procedures with a focus on funding-effective diagnostics using the example of comparative tests
Technology-based Assessment III (TBA III) describes a cross-state digital pact project for the further development of feedback on school performance diagnostics using the example of VERA. During the project period until June 2026, new feedback formats are to be developed that will make it easier for internal school recipients (teachers, school administrators and school supervisors) to work directly, purposefully and practically with the results of various diagnostic procedures. The new feedback formats are intended to contribute to the implementation and promotion of data-supported teaching and school development.
Together with three other evaluation institutions, zepf is developing a total of 12 new, prototypical feedback formats on behalf of eight federal states (Berlin, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein), which are specifically tailored to the needs of the respective target group in terms of their design and functionality.
For the first time, the target audience is being actively involved in the development process: small, agile and multidisciplinary development teams are working together throughout the project to design, develop and evaluate the new feedback formats. They are supported by experts in the fields of subject didactics, data visualisation, UX/UI design, e-learning and/or game design.
Upon completion of the project in June 2026, all feedback formats from all participating institutions will be available nationwide for use and further development.
